NO! And it’s pretty disappointing I must say. I am a 46 yr old female training for my first 1/2 and I’ve noticed all my pants getting tighter, not looser and I’ve gained a few pounds. I admit I am more hungry (definitely more tired) but I thought all the miles I have been putting in (much more than I usually run) would have a positive effect on my jeans. Apparently not:(
Oh ya. 25 lbs down since start of Jan 2010. I was hit by a car while cycling last summer and was out of commission for months. With no activity the weight started piling on. In January I was able to start training and the weight has been melting away.
